Refund and Returns Policy

At The Bookish Store, your satisfaction is our priority. If something isn’t right with your order, we’re here to help. Please read our policy carefully to understand how refunds and returns are handled.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or replacement if:

  • The item you received is damaged, defective, or significantly different from the product description.
  • You notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • The item is unused, in its original condition and packaging.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind or wrong size selection (for wearable items like jumpers or hats)
  • Items marked as “final sale”
  • Digital products or downloadable content

2. How to Request a Return or Refund

To initiate a return or refund:

  1. Email us at [email protected] with:
    • Your order number
    • A clear photo or video showing the issue
    • A brief description of the problem
  2. Our support team will review your request within 1–3 business days and provide instructions.

Do not return items without contacting us first, as returns sent without approval will not be accepted.


3. Refunds

  • Once your request is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued for the product cost only. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the issue was our fault.

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please email us with the details and a photo of the product.


5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  • Double-check your bank or PayPal account.
  • Contact your credit card provider — it may take time before the refund is officially posted.
  • If it’s been more than 10 business days, contact us at [email protected].

6. Return Shipping

  • In most cases, we do not require you to return the item due to international fulfillment.
  • If a return is needed, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a fault on our part.

7. Cancellations

Orders can only be canceled within 12 hours of purchase. After this window, we may have already begun processing your order.
